Membership
Membership of ICOMOS Malaysia is open to a wide range of professional disciplines concerned with the management and protection of cultural heritage property including (though not limited to) archaeologists, conservation architects, building archaeologists, landscape architects, town planners, engineers, historians, heritage property managers and heritage administrators. This includes staff from government agencies, NGOs, local authorities, independent consultants and people who contribute to heritage conservation in a voluntary capacity.

Individual 
: RM 310.00/year
Any individual professionally involved in the conservation of Malaysia’s cultural heritage with at least three (3) years’ experience. This includes a full international entitlement.
Young Professional : RM 180.00/year
Any individual professionally who is below 30 years old and meet the requirement for Individual Membership. This includes a full international entitlement.
Institutional : RM2,000.00/year

Any institution involved in the conservation of Malaysia’s cultural heritage. This includes a full international entitlement.
Affiliate Individual : RM100.00/year
Any individual who supports the aims and work of ICOMOS but who are not professionally involved in conservation or who lack the necessary experience. This does not include full international entitlement.
Student : RM50.00/one off
(for duration of full time undergraduate study)
Any undergraduate level student under the age of 30 who registered as full-time students in a recognized university programme for the duration of their undergraduate study. This does not include full international entitlement.
Honorary
This is awarded by the Executive Board to people who support the aims and work of ICOMOS while not taking part in the professional activities of the organization. This category does not include a full international entitlement and no yearly membership fee is required.

All Individual, Young Professional and Institutional members will be registered on the ICOMOS Experts Database, which provides opportunities for professional cooperation between members and other National Committees. In addition to the ICOMOS Malaysia card, they will each receive an ICOMOS card, which entitles them to full international privileges.
